We are currently looking for a Ground Stations Operations Engineer GEO to support our customer in Germany. Ground Stations Operations Engineer GEO Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the RealTime Services and System Operations Division, you will have the following responsibilities Longterm planning and shortterm scheduling of the operational usage of the ground stations to support both the needs of the Flight Operations Division FLO and Ground Stations engineering team Interface with project teams for the implementation of system upgrades to support major operations projects and major activities Interfacing with the ground stations maintenance teams and industry representatives to ensure optimised performance by the ground stations, including participating in the definition, specification and implementation of any changes Planning and coordination of upgrades, repairs and evolutions with the engineering teams and FLO division and organising the validation of these upgrades, repairs and evolutions with the Controller Teams Organising the validation of these upgrades, repairs and evolutions with the Controller Teams Definition and maintenance of ground station operations procedures and operations guides Maintaining operational ground stations databases Investigation into anomalies, their documentation, classification and correctionmitigation, participation in associated Anomaly Review Boards Provision of training, through production and presentation of written materials, practical demonstrations and presentations, to other members of the Operations Department. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience At least five years experience in ground stations TTC operations in support of multiple Geostationary GEO andor Low Earth Orbit LEO spacecraft At least five years experience in a realtime 247 spacecraft operations environment, ideally in an earth observation environment Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills Major upgrades or evolutions of operational ground stations Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
