Package description Main responsibilities Under the direct authority of the Head of Media Relations, you will offer support for ESAs Media Relations Assist in organising media events press conferences, media trips Maintain a database up to date of all corporate ESA media contacts Media relations support role for launch campaigns back office Ensure an up todate registry of running and completed media requests across ESA Arrange and coordinate interviews with ESA staff Various administrative support Website Maintain and update the media calendar Publish press releases and other press material Backup for guest operations At request of the Head of Media Relations, the holder of the post will be required to take part in other work as required. Of particular note The post is eventsdriven, and as such exceptionally entails unusual working hours. Ideal candidate You should bring a Bachelors degree, with at least 4 years work experience as an Assistant. Furthermore it is expected to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills. Other essential qualities are excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer focus, along with a proven ability to function in a team working under pressure. The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of the two languages are required.
