We are looking for a Microwave MmWave Technology Equipment Engineer E3 to join our Ajilon Technology Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 115 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. Specific tasks to be performed Contribute to the design, development and performance evaluation of RF technologies applicable to space and ground segments, with particular emphasis on active RF equipment and components HPAs, LNAs, TR modules, etc. in MMIC and hybrid forms Provide expert technical support to projects and programmes Contribute to the generation of innovative ideas in the field of RF equipment and technologies and to the definition of ESA RD programmes Define technical requirements and statements of work for the tasks to be performed by industry from early conceptual studies to full hardware development Contribute to the developmentusage of section related laboratory facilities and analysissimulation tools Maintain stateoftheart expertise by interacting with research Institutes, monitoring the technological trends and applying them in the daytoday work To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required Masters degree in Microwave or RF Electronics Engineering Good background on RF equipment and technologies for space application A minimum of 4 years of working experience on Active RF equipment, components and technologies Extensive and proven experience in the domain of microwave components, equipment andor technologies. This nursery of European space activities is located in Noordwijk, Netherlands. At ESTEC, about 2500 engineers, technicians and scientists work handson with mission design, spacecraft and space technology. Almost all ESA projects except launchers are managed from ESTEC. In Noordwijk, people work on science missions, manned space missions, Earth observation, telecommunications and navigation satellites.
