We are currently looking for a Mission Control Operations Systems I, V V Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Mission Control Operations Systems I, V V Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As MCO Systems Integration, Verification Validation Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities Requirements engineering mainly related to the verification processes Design of the mission control and operations elements defining described functional, physical and software characteristics Planning, preparation and execution of integration and verification activities Specifically, for ground segment phase C and D provide support for Procurement of mission control and operation elements Definition of the IVV approach, Test Specification and Test Harnesses Preparation and execution of the testing, integration and acceptance of procured elements Installation of ground segment elements at sites, and their integration into the overall Ground Segment system Verification and validation IVV of the integrated Ground Segment Participation in formal reviews and technical meetings at MCO subsegment and Ground Segment level. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering or another relevant discipline Several years of experience in space systems engineering, including knowledge of ECSS standards and system life cycle processes Mission control and operations systems for large and complex EO missions, including SCOS2K based control systems and CCSDS SLEbased interfaces with TTC Stations Testing and verification of mission control and operations systems and in their integration into the overall ground segment Requirements management of their verification via VCDs Preparation of ground segment documentation relating to requirements engineering, design, and IVV planning and execution, but with a focus on IVV documentation Knowledge of DOORS and ModelBased System Engineering and related tools. Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Darmstadt.
