According to Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Amtrak Train #190 hit and killed a person, who was not authorized to be on the tracks, at the Stratford Metro-North station just before 8:30 a.m. //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Train service was temporarily suspended earlier between New Haven and Bridgeport for the police investigation but has since resumed. Train Service between New Haven and Bridgeport has resumed with delays due to police activity as a result of a trespasser struck by a train.
