Main responsibilities The Service Manager is responsible for the detailed definition of the Service Solution and the provision of the Service according to the Service Level Requirements and according to the Service Level Agreements in place. To this end, heshe Details and consolidates the Service Design Solution and the Service Catalogue Leads the Service Transition into Operations by planning and coordinating the resources to ensure that the requirements of Service Strategy encoded in Service Design are effectively realized in Service Operations Interfaces with the Customer and organizes Service Reviews Ensures a comprehensive and clear overview of the Service status, its trends, its criticalities and opportunities Guides the Service Management team resources in all Service Operations processes and functions. Ideal candidate The candidate should have a University degree in a relevant technical discipline or the equivalent work experience along with the following Knowledge of Service Design Definition Experience of ground segments operations Good problem solving techniques Good interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communications Excellent Interpersonal and team working capabilities Technical documentation writing English Fluency in English written and spoken Knowledge of Copernicus Ground Segment and Copernicus Data Access is mandatory Knowledge of ITIL v3 is mandatory.
