Sheriff's Deputies arrest two copper wire theft suspects in Gerlach

Washoe County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrested two men suspected of attempting to steal approximately eight thousand feet of copper wire from alongside the Union Pacific Railroad Company tracks just east of Gerlach Monday. Ellis Byron Baldwin, age 53, and Brian Ferris age 57, both of Salt Lake City, Utah, face multiple charges related to the suspected theft of the copper wire.
