For our location in Oberpfaffenhofen, close to Munich, Germany, we are looking for Spacecraft Controllers fm. Tasks The Spacecraft Controller shall perform the following tasks Control the spacecraft during routine operations using Flight Procedures Provide permanent manning of the spacecraft control centre according to a shift plan Support ground systems tests and System Validation Test SVT Support the Spacecraft Analyst in other tasks related to the spacecraft database and control systems Monitor and Operate the ground control systems e.g. network components, specific software applications 247 shift work Essential requirements The staff in charge of this work package shall have Solid technical background in a relevant field e.g. physics, electronics, computer, aerospace, telecommunications, engineering Experience with computer systems Ability to work calmly and correctly under stressful operational conditions Fluency in German is mandatory Desirable skills Previous spacecraft operations experience Knowledge of database systems Ability to work autonomously Other Information Fluency in English is desirable Candidate must be EU Citizen or have valid working permit to work in Germany The acquisition of a security clearance is mandatory for this position To guarantee that your application is processed, please apply via our website httpwww.scisys.dewhereweworkspacecareersspacejobs.html
