Eastern and Central Tropical Atlantic (AL98): Showers and thunderstorms have increased this morning in association with a broad area of low pressure along a tropical wave located several hundred miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands. However, earlier satellite wind data suggested the system still lacks a well-defined circulation.
