DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 500 AM AST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Nine was located near latitude 18.5 North, longitude 49.4 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Satellite imagery indicates that the depression is becoming less organized, and it is expected to degenerate to a remnant low pressure area later today or tonight. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
