The region's two largest seaplane operators are for the first time directly competing for scheduled passengers to Friday Harbor. But the market share contest between Northwest Seaplanes and Kenmore Air Harbor Inc. is Lilliputian compared to the pitched battle between Delta Air Lines and Alaska Air Group , since Delta created an international gateway here two years ago .
