Position Reference 630 We are currently looking for a Web Application Expert to work in the RHEA Office in city of Frascati, Italy. Possibility to start remotely. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include developing a web portal for the discovery and comparison of ESAs Earth Observation services. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree in computer science, geoinformatics or a technical field that provides similar competences. 24 years of experience in Web Portal andor Web application design and implementation. Practical experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript 12 years of experience using a web site framework e.g. Liferay, WordPress. The following skills would be highly desirable Knowledge of OGC standards especially WMS, WPS. Practical experience using Python and Linux command line scripting e.g. bash. 12 years of experience in Linux system administration. Knowledge of ITIL or other project management standard.
