Oracle Fusion Expert Start date ASAP Client and Location For one of our Clients, we are currently recruiting for an Oracle Fusion Expert for their location in Maastricht, the Netherlands. They are committed to building, together with their partners, a Single European Sky that will deliver the Air Traffic Management ATM performance required for the twentyfirst century and beyond. With more than 1,900 highly qualified professionals spread over four European countries, deploying their expertise to address ATM challenges. Their expertise is unrivalled covering both operational and technical elements advising on both civil and military aspects of ATM and having experience at bringing States with different needs together for a common goal. Tasks and Responsibilities Support the upgrade of the Oracle Fusion environment from 11c to 12c Develop the upgrade plan in close coordination with the MUAC DBA and application development teams. This also entails a proper design of the new setup. Focus is on Forms and Reports, and WebTierAPEX integration Perform the migration of developmenttest instances, detect and resolve issues arising during the upgrade. Cooperate with developers to streamline affected applications if changes are required Documentation of the design, maintenance procedures and installsetup. Experience and Education Senior profile with experience in migrating Oracle Fusion 11c to 12c with focus on Oracle FormsOracle Reports continuation of legacy. Development knowledge to assist the transitioning of the current Oracle FormsReports to the 12c setup. Proven experience in design of an Oracle Fusion environment conceptual and practical knowledge. After reading about the departure of Jony Ive, I'm trying to wrap my head around Apple without a design focus. Now this isn't as hard as you might think, given the last truly successful Apple product came out around a decade ago and was called the "iPad." It is also somewhat ironic that Apple just effectively relaunched the iPod, the product that Steve Jobs rode to Apple's massive success.

When we write the history of the IT era, the big factor that has played an important but not well recognized role will be hardware -- specifically, the Oracle Exadata appliance that puts databases into memory.
