Jewel-Osco Will Move To Larger Space in Deerbrook Mall

Jewel-Osco will move into a new, larger building in the Deerbrook Mall once all village approvals on an agreement between the grocer, village and Mall ownership are obtained. The agreement is to replace the existing 46,000-square-foot store with a 61,700-square-foot market and to provide sales tax incentives for Jewel in return for Jewel to sign a 10-year lease and allow a wholesale club open at the south end of the center , according to the Deerfield Review.
