As we develop the next generation of satellites, we want you to join our team and shape our future. We are looking for a graduate with a degree in remote sensing or meteorology to join us. You will work with our colleagues and partners, helping us to develop new Atmospheric Motion Vectors products. In addition to our extensive technical training, we will improve your interpersonal skill and business acumen, supporting you with our network of mentors and coaches. You will work in a multicultural environment alongside colleagues and partners who are the best in their field. The closing date for this campaign is 5th March and interviews will be held in April. The ECEP will start in September and run for two years. EUMETSAT, the European meteorological satellite agency is recruiting a radio occultation scientist. Bringing together the resources of 30 member states, we observe the atmosphere, ocean and land surfaces from space using a system of satellites 365 days a year. Our data is vital for weather forecasts that help to protect lives and property, as well as monitoring the environment and our changing climate. We want you to come and join our team and contribute to our future missions. This is an exciting opportunity for a radio occultation scientist to join our team and help us advance the understanding and utilisation of satellite radiooccultation data in support of atmospheric profiling. Using your extensive experience in remote sensing and processing of data from Global Navigation Satellite Systems GNSS missions, you will develop prototype algorithms which will contribute to our future needs for satellite products and services. It is important that you have worked with meteorological satellite application user communities, in order to understand the user needs and requirements of stateoftheart science.
