Desirables In addition, the knowledge and experience of the following processesareas is considered as an asset Competence and experience in the engineering processes for managing requirements from the definition phase through the traceability, verification, validation and maintenance stages using formal methods and tools e.g. DOORs Design and requirements engineering of large and complex Earth Observation related ground stations Usage of High Data Rate Demodulators System experience with Link budget analysis and tools in S, X and Ka Band. Standard RF and microwave tools and SW package for generation of signal processing related simulations andor semiautomated measurement procedures. PRODEX is an optional programme devoted to the development of scientific instruments and experiments for space science missions. Duties Reporting to the Head of the PRODEX Office or his Deputy, the postholder will be in charge of implementing a number of PRODEX activities, with emphasis on instrument hardware development.
