The contractor will be assigned to the Flight Software Systems Section of the Software Systems Division at ESTEC and shall function as an integrated team member of the development team, in charge of the following initial tasks General Support to Software Validation Facilities and Avionics Test Bench infrastructure activities. Project support related to all technical aspects development and qualification of flight software. Further supporting tasks in the following areas Interface adaptations between SVF and Test Bench models. Adaptation and upgrade ATB EagleEye mission Integration of TSP based system execution environment Supporting integration of Multicore based system execution environment Support dedicated projects SVF infrastructure development including processor simulator Professional Experience AOCS performance analyses and optimization expert is required Education Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline Language Skills Fluent in spoken and written English Personal Skills Specific knowledge is required in the following areas Software engineering and objectoriented programming Space systems and Space Systems engineering Programming languages CC andor others Embedded Real Time Systems and Real Time Kernels Microprocessors such as SPARC LEON, ARM, multicores etc. Communication protocols Mil1553, SpaceWire, CAN Software Engineering tools Software Engineering Standards such as the ECSSEST40C Incorporation Date 01Feb2017
