JOB DESCRIPTION Data processing operations Engineering Support Responsibilities Duties Tasks The tasks of the Consultant will typically include Supporting routine operations involving the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems, including Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems and the quality and availability of the MSG and MTP Level 1 and Level 2 products and EPS Level 0 to Level 2 products Investigating anomalies relating to the performance of the MSG, MTP and EPS data processing systems and the quality and availability of the MSG and MTP Level 1 and Level 2 and EPS Level 0 to Level 2 products Preparing and reviewing technical documentation relating to data processing operations Providing Standby callout support Supporting the further development of the MSG and EPS data processing systems, including the specification and validation of system updates Supporting the operations preparations for future MSG and EPS spacecraft Supporting the preparations for Meteosat Third Generation Attendance at technical meetings Participation in formal reviews.
