Our DAs typically work in teams alongside technical architects, designers and testers against client requirements using industry standards to implement some of Europes most exciting IT projects. To support the expansion of the project team, we require a Design Authority to support the maintenance activities on a large Navigation programme. As part of your role, you will be expected to analyse a number of client requirements and the design baseline and provide technical guidance and direction to the Maintenance Development Team in the operational considerations and implications of fixes to the software. This process will require you to have significant customer interaction, triggering investigation of any anomalies, obtaining additional inputs from the customer and then concluding and recommending the technical solution. As part of this, your role may require you to coordinate and or undertake onsite investigations. Additionally you will be required to support the verification process by providing guidance to others on the technical resolution. In achieving these responsibilities you will be expected to work effectively together with the Lead Design Authority and Release Manager, as well as the Development Team Leads and Maintenance Development Team. Your role will involve Technical investigations, analysis, tradeoffs of solution options Analysis of technical requirements Providing guidance to the development and testing teams with hands on involvement when required Progress Reporting on investigations and support to Anomaly Review Boards ARB where progress is reviewed Attendance to internal and external ARBs Reporting to the Release Manager.
