Sirius XM Holdings Inc reported an 8.3 percent rise in quarterly revenue as strong U.S. auto sales drove an increase in paying subscribers for the satellite radio service. The company's net income rose to $105.7 million, or 2 cents per share, in the first quarter ended March 31, from $94.0 million, or 2 cents per share, a year earlier.

(Telecompaper) MTN Group announced that its revenue for the year ended 31 December 2014 rose by 6.4 percent to ZAR 146.2 billion, despite a 3.9 percent contraction in the South African operation's revenue and declines in the value of the Ghanaian cedi and the Syrian pound. Revenue growth was supported by an increase of 12.1 percent in MTN Nigeria's revenue and weakness in the Rand, which had a 3.2 percent positive impact on revenue.

Traffic rises but key revenue figure falls at Delta

Delta Air Lines Inc. said Tuesday that a key revenue measure fell 1.5 percent in February mostly because the strong dollar reduced the value of international ticket sales. The figure is revenue for each seat flown one mile.

ON Semiconductor revenue rises in 4Q, 2014 on auto demand

ON Semiconductor Corp. reported Thursday it saw a 17 percent revenue increase for the fourth quarter of 2014 and a jump of nearly 14 percent for the entire year due in part to the company's automotive demand. The Phoenix-based semiconductor manufacturer reported net income of $4.9 million, or 1 cent per share, on revenue of $864.2 million for the fourth quarter that ended Dec. 31.This compares with net income of $37.8 million, or 8 cents per share, on revenue of $718 million for the third quarter of 2013.
