PROFILE In addition to having a University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, the key person must have excellent team working skills, being able to work autonomous and have good analytical skills. The key person shall have skills and experience in the following mandatory areas minimum 5 years for each 1. System Maintenance Skills o Extensive experience in the provision of first line support for operational systems, which includes the monitoring of the performance, problem investigation, coordination of resolutions and oncall support. 2. Software Engineering Skills o Extensive experience in designing and developing software components and applications in the Java programming language under Unix Sun Solaris, Linux using Object Oriented OO approach including design patterns for web portals. o Extensive experience in developing software applications using interfaces to relational database management systems RDBMSand management of their schema. 3. System Development Maintenance Skills o Strong technical expertise for translating user requirements into software requirements, architecture evolution and implementation. o Extensive experience in software development and maintenance using a formal life cycle resulting in deliveries to customers. This includes requirements management, software design and implementation reflecting corrective and evolutions of software components. o Extensive experience in software validation and verification related activities test procedure generation, nonregression testing, requirements verification and validation. 4. Documentation and Software Configuration Management Skills o Experience in using software configuration management, anomaly reporting and tracking tools. 5. Experience with graphics packages like IDL or Matlab would be a distinct advantage.
