FAA Proposes $325,000 Civil Penalty Against Alfa Chemistry

Civil penalty of $325,000 proposed by FAA against Alfa Chemistry stems from alleged violations of U.S. Department of Transportation Hazardous Materials Regulations. Specifically, FAA alleges that, on 2 separate FedEx cargo flights, Alfa Chemistry shipped undeclared hazardous material (Acrolein) that DOT regulations prohibit from being transported on passenger and cargo aircraft.
