Unit features 0.75 hp, 220 V motor with overheat protection and cutter speed of 2,850 rpm. Lightweight and portable, 9 ft x 5/8 in. flexible shaft allows for wide coverage area. Available in pressure ranges up to 5,000 psi (standard trim) and 10,000 psi (high-pressure trim), BR series does not require heating to maintain pressure control. All-mechanical design eliminates ability of oil and ice to cling to internal passages of regulator, and control valve is pilot operated. Pilot pressure can be controlled using manually operated knob adjusted pressure regulator or electronic pressure regulator. Design scales and is available with port sizes from ¼–¾ in.

This application note outlines a method for the design of lumped element filters using Modelithics Microwave Global Models, Nuhertz Technologies’ FilterSolutions software, and NI/AWR Design Environment software, specifically AXIEM electromagnetic (EM) simulation. Four example filters designed and tested with this procedure are presented, with measured results close to the predictions in a single design pass.

Optical Design and Analysis Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working onsite to support following tasksareas Performance of optical tolerance analyses including the generation of sensitivity matrices and performance of Monte Carlo simulations Import of optical designs from Code V into Zemax Performance of optical analyses optical transmission, polarization, birefringence Performance of thermo elastic simulation including thermal parameters of lens displacements due to mechanical deformations Optical illumination engineering Perform optomechanical engineering Definition of technical specifications for optical systems, subsystems and equipment Support to internal project reviews preparation Performance of stray light analysis ghosts, unwanted reflections on mechanical parts Performance of Radiometric calculation Simulation of scattering by diffusors.
