AIA is part of the Remote Sensing and Products Division and its role is to develop, implement, validate and evolve operational observational products. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Analysing, supporting the design, operational implementation and validation of new as well as updated product algorithms Analysis and resolution of anomalies relating to the product generation software. Within the EUMETSATs Technical and Scientific Support Department TSS, RSPs role is to develop, implement, validate and evolve operational observational products from EUMETSAT and agreed third party satellites. The geophysical products most relevant to this post are those involving different cloud processes e.g. atmospheric instability, cloud formation, and precipitation derived both from geostationary and polar orbiting satellite data. The key person will also participate, if necessary, in the operations preparation, launch and commissioning phases of new satellites.
