Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering Several years of experience in satellite telecommunications user andor ground segment Understanding of satcom ground segment architectures for broadcasting, broadband, trunking, backhauling and mobile applications Expertise in some or all the areas of o Terminal modem design FPGA and ASIC Communication protocols including quality of service aspects, upper layer techniques in IP and networking, air interface techniques, RF and Microwave including LNAs, SSPAs, TWTAs, filters, frequency converters, Ground antennas for both fixed and mobile satcom systems Definition and implementation of ground solutions for satcom mobile systems experience working in industry Management of development contracts for ground segment products and technology Specific experience in the satellite telecommunication commercial market development is desirable Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
