This post is classified in the A2A4 grade band of the Coordinated Organisations salary scale. LOCATION ESTEC, Noordwijk The Netherlands. DUTIES The postholder will have the following specific duties assessing inyear and multiyear resource plans including cost, cash, income, workforceworkload, procurement, schedule and related risks and the analysis of deviations versus plans determining with Directorates measures to correct deviations from plans analysing, in addition, the pace of implementation of programmes in support of the elaboration of financial programmatic corridors and targets for activity domains providing inputs for periodic reporting to the DGDirectors Committee and to ESA Member States on the overall status of planning and achievements of ESA programmes and activities supporting the definition and development of an Agencywide planning tool and the enhancement of related processes aimed at establishing a common single ESA data set participating in the preparation of the Agencys budgets proposing costeffective solutions for continuous improvement of reporting capabilities in support of controlling activities leading the Agencywide improvement group on reporting gathering and assessing requirements of the controlling community, providing the interface with the IT Department for the implementation of the reports, monitoring progress and proposing solutions for enhanced reporting capabilities in support of controlling processes. In addition to the above, the incumbent will be called on to contribute to other planning, monitoring, reporting and controlling tasks, as requested by their management. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants for this post should have a Masters degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, business administration or a related discipline, together with relevant experience in controlling. Good knowledge of financial management systems is required. Knowledge of SAP is considered a distinct asset for this position. Candidates must demonstrate excellent analytical, communication and coordination skills. The ability to provide quality output while working to tight deadlines is an essential prerequisite for this post. The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these two languages is required together with a working knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of another member state language is an asset.
