BioConsortia of Davis, which works on microbial science with consortia for improving plant traits and increasing crop yields, announced the appointment of Joe Schmidt, as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. Schmidt was most recently director of Global Business Development and Licensing for Bayer CropScience.
