We are currently looking for a Dissemination Operations Engineer Consultancy Support to support our customer in Germany. Dissemination Operations Engineer Consultancy Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilitiesYou will be working onsite as part of the Control Centre Division to support the following tasksareas Routine operations of the dissemination and encryption functions within the Ground Segments Control, population and operation of dissemination related databases and configuration files for both inhouse and remote systems Preparation, validation verification of ground segment operational procedures Dissemination services related training of the Control Centre Team Analysis and resolution of user enquiries related to dissemination services Validation, verification and rollout of new releases of software Investigation into system anomalies on the data dissemination services Generation of Engineering Change Proposals Design, implementation and verification testing of corrections and improvements Coordination of the operational validation of releases and changes Definition and implementation of dissemination service monitoring and reporting tools, and generation of related reports. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline Several years of experience in operations or software maintenance of realtime data dissemination systems DVBsatellite communications and satellite ground segment operations Experience in configuration, installation and scripting for Linux and Windows Familiarity with the monitoring of data flows in large computer networks as well as the provision data services in a highavailability environment Knowledge of first and second level support in data services, formalised hardwaresoftwaresystem testing and configuration control Ability to work independently as well as good communication skills Fluency in English is mandatory French would be an asset.
