If you have experience in Information Management IM and are looking to transferdevelop this knowledge into the space sector then take advantage of this excellent opportunity and become a member of staff at Europes Meteorological Satellite Agency based in Darmstadt, Germany. Reporting to the IM Officer, the key candidate shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining EUMETSAT IM processes and working practices. The successful candidate shall have the chance to contribute to EUMETSATs IM approach and continue the transformation from a document management system to an innovative information management system. Candidates shall have relevant experience in establishing and implementing effective Information or Knowledge Management, in advanced technology organisations, preferably Aerospace. The ideal candidate shall have a proactive attitude to work with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team, they shall also have the capability to introduce new and innovative ideas and concepts in to the process. All applicants require excellent interpersonal skills, along with a university degree in InformationKnowledge Management or similar subject Candidates must be a EUMETSAT member state national and have a good working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. The initial contract will be for 4 years with subsequent 5 year contracts being awarded thereafter based on individual performance.
