Within one WQFN28 package, ML610Q304 integrates 8-bit RISC core, speech synthesis circuit, Class D speaker amp, non-volatile memory, and oscillator circuit. Monolithic design promotes safety and battery life, and audio playback is possible via connecting to speaker. Also, hardware-based audio playback operation minimizes load placed on MCU for system control processing. Other features include multiple fail-safe functions; four 8-bit timers; 3-ch, 10-bit ADC; and 2.0–5.5 V supply voltage.
