A Sales Engineer is required for a full time position to work for one of the UKs most innovative young companies, also a World leader in electronic systems for small satellites and CubeSats. As a member of the Business Development Team you will be responsible for building close relationships with our customers, supporting their projects and ensuring Clyde Space continues deliver excellent customer service, exceeding our customers expectations. Reporting to the Head of Business Development your principle responsibilities will include Preparing written technical proposals for customers, and assisting in the early stages of project delivery Responding to customer queries about Clyde Space products Offering aftersales support services Provide support for marketing communications activities, including web site content, conference and event attendance and customer meetings Provide input to Engineering to drive product development in line with market and customer requirements Develop and maintain and understanding of key market trends. KPIs Excellent technical knowledge of Clyde Space products, key differentiators and system options Meets or exceeds financial targets set by the business development team Delivers Customer response ontime, inbudget and to customer satisfaction The candidate must demonstrate Ability to develop rapport with colleagues and customers alike. Ability to work independently and make decisive decisions Ability to manage time effectively, dealing with multiple activities at the same time Strong system engineering knowledge Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers to elicit requirements and manage expectations Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word PowerPoint Exceptional Presentation Skills.
