YOUR TASKS Working directly with our client you will provide support to the operations team in the area of the SCOS2000 mission control system and associated subsystems. The support covers all phases of mission control system procurement from requirements definition through to acceptance and validation of systems delivered by industry. You will work closely with the rest of the operations team and will be expected to work on several tasks in parallel across multiple earth observation missions in different stages of procurement. YOUR PROFILE Masters degree in Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent At least 3 years experience working on satellite mission control systems Good knowledge of Mission Control Systems for preferably Earth Observation satellites Experience as in the coordination of mission control system development, preferably for Earth Observation Missions including prelaunch activities and launch campaigns of satellites Familiarity with ESA mission control system products and in particular extensive knowledge in the operational deployment of external systems such as EDDS, GFTS and DARC Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Familiarity with programmingscripting languages e.g. C, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting Capability to interact with users in customer oriented manner. We are looking to supplement our very talented team in Berlin with a Constellation and Satellite Navigation Systems Specialist wm The Constellation and Satellite Navigation Systems Specialist will hold a lead technical role within KLEO, involved primarily in advanced systems architecting and design of the constellation geometry and supporting infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for systems engineering tasks to support the companys development of core Navigation Systems for the satellites and ground infrastructure to support operational activities. They will actively interface between other Engineering, Regulatory and Business Development teams, as well as, external international technical partners to ensure that the system design fulfills the companys service delivery objectives respectively. Main Responsibilities Lead mission and system requirement definition and RD activities for space and ground systems necessary for managing the Constellation geometry over the full lifecycle of the satellites Launch, Commissioning, Orbit Raising, Constellation phasing, Stationkeeping, Orbit Maintenance, Collision Avoidance, Decommissioning and Deorbiting.
