Our key competence is in the area of the flight operation segments for different types of missions like reconnaissance or satellite communication. It also includes the payload data ground segments composed of a processing infrastructure in a cloud environment and algorithms. The context of our work reaches from different types of space segment LEO to GEO, micro to large satellites to ground station and antenna technology. Your Tasks Your activities will range from developing future project ideas and business cases to managing and writing proposals. Some example are Definition of concepts for products, services and complete ground segments Creating a network of contacts to customers, potential scientific and industrial partners, colleagues within the whole OHB Group Contributing to studies, RD projects, space system proposals technical and commercial Your main responsibilities will be promoting and managing proposal projects by Preparing activities like scouting for opportunities, identifying and initiating RD, industrial teaming, budget allocation to tasks Coordinating the creation and writing parts of technical proposals, management proposals, implementation proposals, service proposals Your Qualifications University degree in Space System Engineering, Physics, Information Technology or a related engineering area At least first, preferably profound, professional experience in one of the following areas system engineering, software development, space system operations, project management, business development Capability to present in front of customers and colleagues Motivation to do what is needed to get things done Ability to work independently to gather knowledge and skills required Ability to work in a team and collaborate with team members Fluency in spoken English and professional in writing B2, preferably fluency in spoken German and professional in writing B2

The Database Team develops and maintains the satellite reference database SRDB that manages this data. ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY As the Senior Engineer, Satellite Telecommunications Systems you will be responsible for an endtoend usercentered process that translates business requirements stemming from the customerfacing entities and corporate development areas into technical systems that are centered around or include satellites. You will translate customer business needs into a system concept that includes planning and implementing solution sets based on MEOGEO infrastructure. Satellite Mission Data Systems Manager

Working directly with our client you will provide support to the operations team in the area of the SCOS2000 mission control system and associated subsystems. The support covers all phases of mission control system procurement from requirements definition through to acceptance and validation of systems delivered by industry. You will work closely with the rest of the operations team and will be expected to work on several tasks in parallel across multiple earth observation missions in different stages of procurement. Tasks Good knowledge of Mission Control Systems for preferably Earth Observation satellites Experience as in the coordination of mission control system development, preferably for Earth Observation Missions including prelaunch activities and launch campaigns of satellites. Familiarity with ESA mission control system products and in particular extensive knowledge in the operational deployment of external systems such as EDDS, GFTS and DARC. Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Familiarity with programmingscripting languages e.g. C, Java, JavaScript, shell scripting Capability to interact with users in customer oriented manner. This include 1st and 2nd line support. Experience working with operational missions, and particular previous experience with CopernicusSentinels Missions would be an advantage Experience in coordinating across an organization to introduce new systems and resolve operational issues. Requirements Master degree in Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
