Job Title AOCS Engineer Location Sweden Start Date ASAP Duration 6 months Background We are working with a Swedish provider of space systems. The Group currently employs over 2.200 people. Within its Space product line, they develop, build, test and operate satellites for different kinds of space missions within communications, earth observation, space research and exploration. From loworbiting satellites via geostationary ones and all the way up to interplanetary missions. They have recently been awarded the development of the altitude and orbital control system for a new satellite. Tasks The position is for an allround AOCS engineer with a solid background in control design. The project is the design, implementation, and validation of the AOCS system for a Sun observation project for the ESA The mission will require a very advanced and highly autonomous AOCS based on 10N thrusters and reaction wheels as actuators, and IMU, star trackers, and fine sun sensors as sensors. Some specific and strict requirements exist for pointing close to the Sun because of thermal constraints and for deltaV accuracy in conjunction with gravity assist manoeuvers. Experience AOCS System Architectural Design and Analysis Good knowledge of Control Design and Analysis Processing of AOCS equipment data signal conversion AOCS Architectural Design, Development and Verification AOCS level FMECA and FDIR design AOCS AIV experience Test specification and planning, test executionLeading a group of AOCS project engineers directly reporting to the project avionics technical responsible English language speaking skills are essential, Swedish would be beneficial.

One of our Space clients in Germany is looking for an AOCS Engineer to work on their projects. It is expected this role to start around March this year at it is a long term consultancy position. Tasks Development and simulation of AOCSGNC subsystems Mission analysis for satellite programs Support to satellite projects from start to customer acceptance. Support in the development and manufacturing of AOCS for satellites. Support to FDIR activities concerning AOCS in satellite projects Documentation. Skills A degree in Engineering, Space technology, Physics or comparable qualifications. Experience in the space business, especially with AOCSGNC an orbit analysis are plus. Experience with mission analysis tools STK. A good knowledge of MatlabSimulink and programming language C Experience in Assembly, Integration and Test AIT is an advantage. Excellent communication skills, high motivation, flexibility and ability to work independently.

One of our Space Clients is looking for a Senior AOCS Engineer involved in System level AOCS including. Post Processing of downloaded AOCS Attitude and Orbitography telemetry on ground. Filtering Kalmann, Least Squares, etc. and hybridization. Alogorithm development for fine attitude restitution of flight data. Data is used to correct and correlate imagery taken.
