Boris is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue tonight. A turn toward the west is forecast Friday or Friday night, with this motion continuing through Saturday. Recent satellite wind data indicate that maximum sustained winds have increased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is expected tonight. After that, Boris is forecast to weaken back to a depression Friday or Friday night. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the center. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Continued weakening is forecast as Dolly moves over colder waters, and the system is expected to become post-tropical on Wednesday. The remnant low should then dissipate by Thursday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
