Spacecraft Operations Engineer Power Thermal Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Venus Express Mission Control Team at ESOC, you will have the following responsibilities Support the Power and Thermal subsystems platform and act as back up of at least one spacecraftground subsystems AOCS, Data Handling, TTC, Payload instrument, Mission Control System, Simulator or Mission Planning Work with the VEX Mission Planning System including the generation of long, medium and short term planning products on rotation shifts every 56 weeks approx Work and be on call as operations engineer supervising operations conduction one week every 56 weeks approx Write and maintain operational procedures in MOIS and reports. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in Spacecraft Engineering, Computer Science or related subject Several years experience in spacecraft operations Knowledge of SCOS 2000 Working experience with MOIS tools Experience in mission planning and operations automation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team in a multinational environment Fluency in English is mandatory, the knowledge of another European language will be an advantage.
