JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Duties Tasks The primary area of responsibility for this service is Flight Dynamics Operations Engineering, primarily but not exclusively, on the following subdomains Test and Validation The areas covered are Support the Flight Dynamics Operations within Sentinels team, routine and special operations including LEOP and deorbiting Sentinels Flight Dynamics software exploitation, operation and maintenance Support to Sentinels launch campaigns FD system tests, simulations to prepare and validate operational support Oncall, and eventually call in, support to support potential collision avoidance manoeuvres Generic flight dynamics support to other Sentinels Ground segment systems and teams FCT, SIM officer, ground stations, The tasks to be performed require considerable initiative, flexibility and independence in executing the assigned tasks. Qualifications MSc in any related discipline Required knowledge Previous experience in ESOC FD in the specified subdomains Knowledge of ESOC FD infrastructure SW to be used for Sentinels Required background in mathematics, mechanics and dynamics Mature problem solving skills Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Service provision will be exclusively in English Wellorganised, able to prioritise and manage several activities in parallel Experience with operational training Familiarity with FD systems Familiarity with programmingscripting languages, its operation, exploitation and maintenance Familiarity with ESOC FD infrastructure software used for Sentinels Experience working with operational missions in Test and Validation area and in particular previous experience with CopernicusSentinels missions Experience in working in an operational environment Familiarity with FORTRAN programming language Familiarity with the ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS Experience with prelaunch activities and launch campaigns of satellites. RHEA is currently recruiting a Galileo international support and SAR Return Link Service support tasks at our clients premises in Prague, Czech Republic. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Technical support for international activities such as international negotiations and international groups, including but not limited to COSPASSARSAT meetings, the MEOSAR EURussia Working Group, UN ICG etc Support for the implementation of the SAR Return Link Service and the implementation of a further SAR Meolut ground station, including preparation and review of the technical documentation followup of industrial procurements Interface with security engineering and with ESA on requirements implementation Participate to the SAR evolutions development reviews and CCB relevant to the tasks under herhis responsibility Support the qualification reviews of new releases of the SAR Ground Segment up to services rollout Interface with CNES and ESA at project CCB level. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree Masters in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent Deep understanding of Satellite Navigation System Good understanding of Ground Segment engineering 5 years of experience on the Galileo Project, preferably on the Search and Rescue SAR domain Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule Ability to interact with multiple parties at the same time Proficient in the English language spoken and written The following skills would be highly desirable Proficient in the French language spoken and written Experience in Search and Rescue SAR on Galileo Project At least 5 years of subcontractor management experience.
