Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Contribute to the preparation of the Galileo system prime schedules, customerfurnished items list and Galileo system design, development and validation plan technical core planning document. You possess sound judgment have integrity and good communications skills. You have a very good working knowledge of spoken and written English. You must be willing to do some travelling. Requirements Applicants for this post should have a university degree Masters or higher or equivalent qualification in a relevant physical science or engineering subject, together with a demonstrated background and experience in SAR systems, SAR performancecalibration and SAR processing, preferably acquired in a space project environment. Background and experience on the specific issues relevant to low frequency, fullpol SAR systems is an asset. The candidate must possess solid analytical skills and the command of the physics and techniques of SAR systems, together with the capability to critically analyse the work performed by industry in the relevant areas, identify problems and proposeinstigate corrective actions. The candidate shall demonstrate to be proficient with programming tools and languages relevant to the implementation and maintenance of the system performance models e.g. MATLAB, Python.
