Myanmar's apparel exports have continued to surge to European countries, where they benefit from duty-free access. Shipments to the U.K. have declined, however, before London has eventually confirmed that Myanmar will keep its trade privileges after the Brexit. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Myanmar's clothing exports in the 2nd quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. A set of indices offers a 4-year approach. Knit, woven, and total apparel exports are separately displayed. US and EU imports per category are also comprehensively covered. In the latest third-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, J.Crew Group has announced an agreement on the terms of a transaction that will enable it to separate its J.Crew and Madewell brands into two independent companies and pursue a proposed IPO of Madewell, while PVH Corp and Ross Stores have upped their full-year guidance on a better than expected third-quarter. Elsewhere, Gap Inc interim CEO Robert Fisher said the company is not pleased with its third-quarter results.
