Pulaski County authorities are searching for a real estate agent who disappeared after going to show a home in Scott. Authorities said Friday that 49-year-old Beverly Carter of Scott was reported missing by her husband about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Former Telstra Corp. Chief Executive Officer Sol Trujillo is seeking to raise as much as 7.5 billion euros to bid for a stake in Telecom Italia SpA , according to people familiar with the matter. Trujillo has discussed the plan with New York-based financial advisers, and sovereign-wealth funds in Qatar and Abu Dhabi are among investors that have expressed interest, said the people, asking not to be identified because the proposal is private.
