Primary role purpose This primary purpose of this post is to support the development, test, documentation and commercial terms of evolving lease initiatives. It will predominantly cover L Band leases such as LAISR, RTAC an IG led variant of LTAC, LTACIPX extension of LTAC via landline to headquarters outside main beam, DLL and other initiatives as and when they arise. It requires a deep knowledge of our existing lease capabilities plus the ability to interact with customers and business Units to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and resilience of the services. The role reports directly to the Lease Operations Manager who is responsible for all lease activities across all Inmarsats satellites. Key Responsibilities Support the Lease Operations Manager in evolving existing lease products to meet bespoke customer requirements Participate in the benchmarking and testing of new lease services, liaising with the NOC and end customers when performing this activity Liaise with commercial and Business Unit staff to ensure that newevolved services meet their needs and are priced appropriately Prepare documentation on evolved lease products defining the products, their capabilities and the roles and responsibilities of the various parties involved in delivering the service Participate in the debug and troubleshooting activities of newly developed lease services Produce and maintain short dossiers on all existing lease services Essential Knowledge and Skills A strong first degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics At least five years experience of working in the telecommunications industry Excellent writing and reporting skills A strong analytical background and knowledge of RF A solid understanding of analogue and digital communications. Due to the nature of the Lease Service customers candidates from NATO member nations will be favoured.
