Job Description For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Engineer for a new test campaign. With 2.500 employees worldwide, our client is one of the top players in the European space industry. The organization specializes in Systems Engineering and offers hightech solutions for space craft. These include loworbit and geostationary satellites for earth observation, navigation, telecommunications, science and space exploration as well as systems for manned space flight, aerial reconnaissance and process control systems. The test campaign will take place in the Netherlands. Tasks and Responsibilities Support in QA matters visavis ESA Review and approval of AsRun Test Procedures SignOffSheet Control of test facility readiness and test equipment calibrations Control of acceleration sensors placing and search run for the vibration test Performance of Test Readiness Reviews and Post Test Reviews Witnessing of Assembling, Integration and Testing activities Control for completeness of all functional tests before, during and after all environmental testsvibration, thermal cycle, acoustic noise, EMC Check of test results recording and signature of test reports NCR processing using the inhouse NCTS Performance of KIPs and MIPs and generation of MIP Reports Support Configuration Management activities asbuilt status, accountability items Control of satellite transport preparation for transport to Kourou. Especially control of security seals for transport to Kourou according to seal list Verification and tracking of safety controls and measures Regular reporting to the QA lead and Product Assurance Manager. Requirements Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or comparable qualifications A minimum of 3 years of experience with quality assurance in Space Industry, preferably on ESA projects Knowledge of international and European quality norms and standards, especially ESA ECSS standards Well motivated and selfconfident Welldeveloped communication skills and good organizational skills Accustomed to work in teams Fluency in written and spoken English German language skills are a plus. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Generate and implement product and project Product Assurance Safety Plans Assure the qualification and verification programme is defined and completed Ensure all external and internal PA requirements are fully understood and implemented by the project, subcontractors and suppliers Attend regular progress meetings with PA disciplines and report Coordinate and provide PA inputs for project design reviews, PDR, CDR, etc. Ensure that all Parts, Materials and Processes are approved for flight PADs, RFAs, etc. through PCBs, MPCB, ERCBs Undertake inspections and audits as required MIPs, KIPs, etc. Control the management of nonconformances and associated tools Understand Non Conformance Reports NCRs raised by subcontractors and convenechair nonconformance review boards Attend Configuration Control Boards CCBs, Test Reviews TRR, TRB, PTR Participate and support in risk assessment and mitigation plans Review and action the alert and warning notes systematically, ensuring their flow down and implementation by subcontractors and maintaining records Manage the project audit schedule and associated audit reportsactions, including inspections including supplier audits Ensure the Equipment Qualification Status List is maintained for all equipments Ensure compliance to product liability legislation Review and approve the Certificate of Conformity CofC Actively challenge current working processes and practices to ensure improvement in quality and efficiency.
