Main responsibilities As a member of the Information Management team, within the Information Management and Configuration Management Competence Area of the PRS Division, you will provide support to GEO and LEO Programme development for all aspects of information management implementation. For the execution of your tasks, you will make use of the EUMETSAT Information Management Tools. Your tasks will typically include Manage programme documentation according to existing working practices and procedures Contribute to a registry of information items used in the development programmes Contribute to establishing an internal metadata reference for the classification of information items generated in programmes Support updating of Information Documentation Management Plans, procedures, and working practices Define and regularly provide IM Metrics and Key Performance Indicators Report on issues in using IM Tools and possible improvements, proposing related requirements and supporting their verification. Ideal candidate Essentials In addition to having a University degree or equivalent in Information Knowledge Management, or other relevant fields, you should have the following experience Minimum three years of experience in a technical, archivist, or librarian role Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles Practical experience in management of technical information and documentation, preferably in an IT or engineering sector, in support to a large set of users Proven experience in drafting reviewing documentationinformation management plans, working practices and procedures Proven experience in applying information, documentation or configuration management processes Proven experience in the use of tools for electronic documentation, information or configuration management, electronic workflow implementing document management processes Proficient knowledge of use of MSOffice, MSAccess, Acrobat and scanning methodology, including experience in managing complex documents structure, related templates, layout and formatting Very good personal communication skills oral and written to be able to effectively interact with users, team members and other teams Highly selfmotivated with a high level of autonomy in working arrangements and the ability to apply initiative and creativity in the execution of tasks Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn, able to work as part of a team and displaying a strong customeroriented approach to interact with EUMETSAT personnel.
