For permanent employment the Navigation Systems department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a Satellite Operations System Engineer for Galileo mfd Your Tasks As a Satellite Operations System Engineer for Galileo, you will be assigned to the GSOp project. You will report to the project manager and will be responsible for the execution of the technical activities including Lead the technical queries and anomaly investigations in collaboration with the satellite operations teams Coordinate with the external stakeholders involved in the space segment maintenance activities in the frame of the weekly Anomaly Review Board and other technical meetings. Coordinate with the internal System and Subsystem teams for technical expertise Design and validate the recovery actions with the help of experts and support their implementation inflight Process and analyse the telemetry and maintain the supporting tools and infrastructure Participate to the preparation of technical proposals for the customer Contribute to the development of our activities within Galileo You will also have the opportunity to support the other Galileo projects of the Navigation department. In this frame, you will report to the Lead Operations System Engineer. Prepare the operational products for the satellites to be launched User Manuals, Flight Control Procedures, Validate the operational products on the satellite test bench, Participate as an Operations Engineer to the operation preparation campaigns Simulation, test campaigns, Participate and coordinate to the LEOP, IOT and Special Operations activities SW Upgrade, satellite recovery, Support the Galileo System and SubSystem teams for the technical activities involving the operations. Your Qualifications Degree in aerospace engineering, or equivalent Good knowledge of satellite systems, experience in satellite operations is a plus Proactive and selfmanaged working style Ability to work in a team Working level proficiency in written and spoken English German or other language skills is advantageous Willing to travel to our customers sites

Position Reference 609 For an exciting project in the domain of Low Orbit satellite engineering activities, we are currently looking for an experienced Satellite Operations Design Engineer, for a role that can be carried in different beautiful cities of Italy, including Rome, Milan, Pisa or in Southern Italy. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include the following tasks Satellite Operations Design definition, including specifications, planification and validation for Earth Observation missions. Definition of commissioning and operations plan of EO projects. Evaluation of Space to Ground interface specifications and flight operations manuals. Participation in the operational interface definition between the platform and payload systems and also between the ground segment and the satellite simulator. Production and thorough update of the corresponding operations documentation and flight procedures. VV activities planification and coordination. Support to the training and improvement plans for the Ground Segment team Satellite oncall support coordination and anomalies monitoring. Skills and Experience You have the following skills and experience A University degree in Aerospace, Space Studies, Sciences, Aeronautical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines More than 5 years of experience in satellite operations design engineering for Low Earth Orbit LEO space missions Proven experience in operational validation, commissioning or routine operations phases Experience with SCOS2000 based mission control centers Experience in managing complex space operations Experience in coordinating a team of SC controllers Participation in satellite performance monitoring, anomaly analysis and solving Knowledge of Satellite Ground Segment facility development Strong teamwork capabilities and good interpersonal skills Proven reporting and communication skills A proactive and problemsolving mindset Excellent level of spoken and written English knowledge of Italian is an asset.
