The position is permanent and fulltime and fully located on customer side in EUMETSAT, Darmstadt, Germany. Submission deadline for applicants is 15th of May. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES The tasks of the Key person will typically include Support to the commissioning and routine operations of Sentinel 3A, and preparing for Sentinel3B comprising Provision of operational expertise platform subsystems andor payload instruments andor onboard software management, satellite simulator and ground segment operations interfaces Maintain the corresponding operations documentation and flight procedures, including the update and operational validation of procedures releases in a configuration controlled environment Perform trending and performance analysis on the corresponding subsystems and instruments, including definition and possibly prototyping of additional analysis checks where necessary Investigations into satellite anomalies. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE Satellite operations engineer with experience on Low Earth Orbit LEO, 3 axis stabilised spacecraft and experience with SCOS 2K and MOIS ESSENTIAL SKILLS Fluency in English Experience of at least 2 years of Spacecraft Operations on Low Earth Orbit LEO, 3 axis stabilised spacecraft with responsibility for one or more platform subsystems or instruments during operational validation, commissioning or routine operations phases Experience of at least 1 years of SCOS2000 mission control system and use of the MOIS operations preparation tool Demonstrated experience in satellite performance monitoring and reporting aspects including anomaly analysis and solving in liaison with satellite industry, procedure change control and configuration management processes Experience in the operation or development of satellite ground segment facilities, in particular procedure development, monitor and control, mission planning, onboard software management, performance analysis, configuration management and simulator facilities.
