Development Engineer for Analog Electronics Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is one of the leading providers of optoelectronic instruments and systems for aerospace and security applications. You will have the following responsibilities Application of optoelectronic image sensors UV to IR in the focal plane modules for spacebased optical instruments Technical management of subcontractors for image sensors and integrated readout circuits Development of system architectures for the optoelectronic signal chain Design, simulation and evaluation of analog circuit concepts Implementation, verification and testing of analog circuits Preparation of the relevant documentation Cooperation with other departments. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in electronicsoptics engineering or equivalent Knowledge of component physics of optoelectronic image sensors Extensive knowledge and experience in analog circuit technology Knowledge of design and manufacturing of analog mixedsignal ASICS and or construction of hybrid optoelectronic devices Knowledge on the application of simulation and design tools Ability to work effectively in a team Very good communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently Fluency in English is mandatory. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Duties Tasks The service to be provided by the candidate chosen for this position will encompass contributing to the system requirements definition, design, implementation and testing of the survey planning and instrument command generation systems to be used within the Euclid Science Ground Segment. The candidate will develop prototype code for the survey planning and instrument commanding tools. The development will be in done in Java to enable reuse of existing code from other missions located at ESAC. The candidate will work in the Engineering team of the Euclid SOC under the System Engineer. They will interface with the major stakeholders of these systems the Sky Survey Working Group, SOC Calibration and Operations Team, Instrument Operations Teams and Euclid Mission Operations Centre.
