Moreover, we actively manage your professional development, training and career progression. For the location in Darmstadt, Germany we are looking for a Spacecraft Analyst at ESOC. Tasks The HSOOES Analyst is responsible for the Service to the Sentinels Sentinel1, 2 and 3 missions as a member of the Flight Control Teams FCT during the preparatory phases, LEOP and commissioning of the above mentioned missions. The Analyst Service within the Sentinels missions includes the following responsibilities Maintenance of spacecraft operational databases, related tools, procedures and documentation under strict configuration control. Implementation and maintenance of tools needed to manipulate the S2K based databases, to create synthetic parameters and to support the data analysis tasks, as required e.g. MSEXCEL, MSACCESS, Visual Basic, S2K Operational Language Organisation, training and operational readiness check of the spacecraft controllers assigned to the mission, in cooperation with the other Sentinels Analysts. Collection of information data regarding the performance of the mission and provision of inputs for mission reports. Provision of spacecraft control support in case of special operations where the SPACONs complement assigned to the mission is not in a position to cover the needs this task is expected to be necessary for only very limited periods of time Support the generation of operational reports based on inputs received from other FCT members Telemetry Data Consolidation and archiving Support the FCT in the configuration, setup and operation of the Sentinels NDIU CORTEX and Lite. Training will be provided within the team, no previous experience required Support the FCT in the configuration, setup and operation of the Sentinels MUST servers. Training will be provided within the team, no previous experience required Routine Mission plan generation supportchecking, as required Essential requirements University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, such as aerospace engineering or computer sciencesoftware engineering Basic knowledgeunderstanding of ESOC Ground Segment Operations and ESOC Ground Segment Components Good experience with office automation tools, including MSEXCEL and MSACCESS use of functions, queries, macros, reports, input forms, etc. Some programming experience, possibly with Visual Basic andor SQL Experience in working in an operational environment Desirable requirements Familiarity with satellite control systems, ideally SCOS2000 Familiarity with operational simulators, ideally SimSat Other Information Start date is as soon as possible.
