SEOSAT Spacecraft Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organisation providing satellite operations and ground station tracking network services to its users. In this role you will work as part of SEOSAT Ingenio Flight Control Team and will be responsible for Preparation of the operational products, in particular the Operational DB and the Flight Operations Procedures and timelines SVT preparation and execution Mission Control System validation Simulator validation Training and Simulations LEOP Commissioning preparation and execution. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in engineering or physics or other relevant field Professional experience in the satellite systems especially Onboard Data Handling Knowledge of spacecraft operations preparation, SVT, LEOP and commissioning Mission Control Systems e.g. SCOS ECSS engineering standards for space system engineering and operations Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. The key candidate will also be required to assist in the production of the procedures and SVT test cases for other subsystems. The successful candidate may be required to carry out work at the Routine Phase Control Centre located in Madrid. All applicants must have a university degree in engineering or physics along with a good knowledge of spacecraft subsystems. Good English communication skills is essential.
