Package description Highly competitive salary Corporate Benefits Package Relocation Assistance if applicable Further information available from the Serco Europe Recruitment Team Main responsibilities The primary areas of responsibility for this position are the Guidance, Navigation Control, Propulsion subsystems and Payload, the setup and configuration of the Mission Planning System for routine operations and the support to the SOM in the Egress Operations planning and Ground Segment System Test and Validation. The support will initially be provided to the ExoMars RSP mission within the Solar and Planetary Missions family but with the possibility of supporting other missions within this family. The general activities to be supported are depending on the phase of the mission Study of Project specific Characteristics Participation in the development of the Ground Segment Documentation System Requirements Document, System Test Plan Preparation of Functional Requirements for the Project dedicated Flight Control Software Preparation of Functional Requirements for the Project dedicated Flight Control Ground Facilities Participation in the Ground Segment system validation activities Participation in the Analysis and Design of Satellite Operations Preparation of Flight Control and Contingency Procedures Production of Project specific Software Validation and Satellite Interface Validation Test SVT Procedures, Reports and Participation in SVTs Participation in the System Operations Validation Test SOV, Training and Simulation Programmes Participation in Launch and Early Orbit Phase LEOP and Mission Critical Operations General Flight Control Support Service Spacecraft Performance Analysis Ideal candidate The ideal candidate should bring the following skills and experience The essential requirements Spacecraft subsystem knowledge AOCSGNCPropulsion systems Experience with Mission Planning System configuration Experience in Ground Segment development andor improvement activities in support of flight operations Experience in spacecraft operations Ability to work with other service providers in operations team player Ability to interact with other teams supporting the operations preparation e.g. ground data systems Ability to work independently Fluency in English, both spoken and written Desirable requirements Experience with OnBoard SW Maintenance OBSM operations Familiarity with the ESOC environment Familiarity with satellite control systems, in particular SCOS2000 Familiarity with ground station control processes and setup Familiarity with operational simulators, especially the ones based on SimSat Familiarity with MOIS Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law. System Engineer

Position Reference 062 You will have the opportunity to support activities typically related to Phase BC of a space programme in the area of system design engineering and architecture definition. You will work within the Sentinel6JasonCS project, with potential support to other LEO programmes. Please note that this is a fixedterm assignment. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a university degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline relevant to the job profile. You have extensive System Engineering life cycle experience for the development of remote sensing and Earth observation systems. You have at least 5 years demonstrated experience in the field of systems engineering and architectural design. You have experience with ISO, Software development, and Space and Ground System engineering processes and standards. You have experience in Model Based System engineering methods, techniques and tools. You have experience in the use of modelling and design tools in support of architectural design activities e.g. CORE. The following skills would be highly desirable You have experience with definition, management and traceability of requirements structure with the support of dedicated tools e.g. DOORS You have a good knowledge of at least 2 of the following and an overview of the others Networking Communications, Ground Stations, Near RealTime Data Processing, Monitoring and control of satellites, Monitoring and control of ground systems You have experience in data communication networks and protocols. Dependability and Safety Support Engineer
