Role Description Summary The incumbent is a member of the global Portfolio and Segment Marketing team and a key contributor to all SES Marketing and Communications functions. The Manager works closely with the SES Networks Product and Strategy team, including Segment Market Management SMM and Product Line Management PLM leaders, to develop portfoliospecific value propositions and messaging, which are used to execute a content plan encompassing written marketing collateral video, animation, and other digital marketing assets and sales and executivelevel presentations. Critical to the role, the Manager provides foundational messaging for global and regional marketing campaigns and events, social media initiatives, public relations, and internal communications. The Manager role focuses on marketing a diverse portfolio of services and solutions, including both fixed data and mobility services across civilian, defense, and humanitarian sectors. As a result, the role requires the Manager to have a breadth of knowledge in space systems, ground systems, and enabling technologies paramount to serving global government markets. Among these technologies are cloud and edge compute platforms, Internet of Things IoT, network security, network virtualisation and automation, and 5G. The Manager also serves as a key contributor to the marketing initiatives of SESs governmentrelated joint ventures. Primary Responsibilities Key Result Areas Leads global government marketing content planning and execution. Collaborates with Portfolio and Segment Marketing Content Strategy Manager to plan for and produce the optimal marketing content mix, combining written collateral, digital assets such as video and animation, and presentations to help enable the sales force and serve all Marketing and Communications stakeholders Partners with SES sales leaders, Portfolio and Segment Marketing leaders, Segment Market Managers, and Product Line Managers to develop global government service and solution messaging.
